GadgetRights earns money through advertising and affiliate links. This page explains exactly how, because you should be able to judge our advice knowing how we are paid.

What an affiliate link is

Some links to products or services are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a commission from the seller. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not your pocket.

Where they appear

Any guide containing affiliate links carries a visible notice near the top, before the first link. We do not hide disclosures at the bottom of the page.

What we will not do

• Recommend a product because it pays more than an alternative.
• Suggest buying something where the honest answer is to buy nothing.
• Let an affiliate relationship change what a guide says about your legal rights.

Our extended warranty guide concludes that most people should skip the plan. That conclusion costs us money and it stays, because it is what the numbers show.

Programmes we participate in

None currently. We are not yet enrolled in any affiliate programme, so no link on this site earns us a commission today. This page will be updated, and the date above changed, as soon as that changes.

Advertising
